STEP-UP
We are continuing to STEP-UP in fourth grade at Conte West Hills. Your child has been working hard to continue to learn the expected behavior both in and out of the classroom in 4th grade. Each Friday, students have the opportunity to participate in "Fun Friday" during their CREW period. Students who have "Stepped Up" and reached their goal for the week will have the opportunity to participate in a fun activity with their classmates.
In addition to the Fun Friday, students will be working towards participation in a "Community Meeting". During Community Meetings, students from grades 3-5 will also celebrate with us for reaching their goals and the wonderful work they have produced during the month.
Consequences administered when students are not "stepping up" are lunch detentions, action plans, phone calls home, behavior referrals, after school detention, or a meeting with an administrator. Students who receive 4 phone calls home in 1 month, 2 detentions or a suspension in one month's time will NOT be able to celebrate during the monthly Community Meeting.
